About Meghan

I am a documentary family photographer and filmmaker in Brighton, Michigan. I'm a wife and mom of two beautiful and complex kids, a first grade boy with Sensory Processing Disorder and Celiac Disease and a miracle baby girl with her own evolving medical adventures.

I love making people happy. I love serving. Lorelai Gilmore is my spirit animal - and if you get that reference, that’s one of the many reasons I should absolutely be your photographer. Indie and Folk rock is my favorite music, and I absolutely love baseball (Lord, please help the Tigers remember how to play well again). I’m very introverted, and probably a little awkward, but develop strong, lasting relationships with my clients.

Soon, you’ll also be able to access my blog called “The Mother’s Opus,” named from the small book of poetry I wrote for completion of my degree in Creative Writing from Eastern Michigan University. Writing is my first passion, and I hope to finally put it to use here.

I’m also an aspiring B&B/coffee shop owner — my dream is to create a getaway for families who have to live with Celiac Disease, and any of the Top 8+ Allergens, off the coast of Lake Michigan.
